Despite the names of these two records, these live albums are not really Christmas albums at all despite having stellar renditions of the songs on each album. White Christmas was released back in 2001 and is the shorter of the two. Little Drummer Boy is a 2 disc affair and was released in November of 2006 and boasts a massive 20 live songs from Red House Painters, Sun Kil moon, and Kozelek's personal catalogue. The 2 limited edition albums will be released October 5th as a 4xLP box set by Kozelek's label, Caldo Verde, and Cameron Crowe's label, Vinyl Films. The box set will be exclusively available through Caldo Verde. Each set will include a bonus exclusive live version of "Have You Forgotten" as well as an autographed poster. So if you own a turn table and a wall, this is not to be missed.
