It's always a pleasure to watch Spencer Krug and company in person and this time around was no different. Their talent is obvious and impressive, especially Spencer and Sunset's drummer. On the heels of their recent acclaimed release, Random Spirit Lover, SR started off with 2 songs from their debut and then launched into their new, complex tunes. As a whole, the crowd didn't identify as well with the new songs since the album had been released the same day -so in a sense, it wasn't as much an intense overall scene as it normally would be. But the good news is that the new songs seemed to be well received by everyone, which I'm sure was appreciated by Krug and co.
